  3. Wait for the Power, Internet, and LAN lights to turn solid green, which indicates that your modem and router are connected and working properly.
  4. Log in to http://www.routerlogin.net/. Your default login username is the admin and the default login password is password.
  5. Click on Basic Setup in the left column of your router’s home screen.
  6. If you are connecting your router to the Internet for the first time, click out of band management and follow instructions to finish configuring your connection type settings manually.

  4. Open a web browser and type192.168.1.1 into the address bar. Now you will go to the router’s login page.
